SMU Law School - Criminal Clinic

Students enrolled in the Criminal Clinic provide representation to indigent individuals facing misdemeanor criminal consequences in Dallas County, including such charges as theft, DWI, criminal trespass, unlawful carry, assault, and even revocation of felony probation. The Clinic's areas of representation are not confined to these specific examples; the clinic has for almost half a century adapted to the needs of the current and contemporary Dallas community.

Fannie Lou's Classroom

Fannie Lou’s Classroom is a podcast created to serve as an educational platform to engage the Church and community in critical social issues that lead to advocacy, activism, and action. Rev. Danielle Ayers, founder and host of the podcast believes that “If we are going to be Justice seekers, we have to be truth tellers.”
