"He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others." II Corinthians 1:4 NIV
The Bereavement Ministry Community help families after death to lay their loved ones to rest. We provide comfort, care, support, and services to those who have experienced loss through death. The Community will provide spiritual support and consolation to Friendship-West Baptist Church members and the community at-large in making final preparations for deceased family members in a prayerful, compassionate and professional manner. We will be a source of love, light and comfort for all bereaved families and stand with them in confidentiality and compassion through the grieving phases of losing a loved one.
Through the love of Jesus, the community labors in love with each other. Members of the community will develop their leadership skills and gifts to be effective in the ministry and the Dallas metropolitan community.
The Bereavement Community mission statement is to make available our God-given time, talent and resources through prayer and attendance, and provide quality programs and community services that meet the needs of individuals within the Friendship-West Church family and the surrounding communities.
