The Ghana Government has proclaimed 2019 as the year of return where all diaspora descendants of Africans who were captured and transported to the Americas as slaves are invited to return to Ghana. This reconciliation celebration is a significant landmark, spiritual and birthright journey. A celebratory program of activities has been planned and our Sr. Pastor, Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III has been invited and added to the events. Pastor Haynes will preach and speak at multiple events. In addition, some of the highlights include visiting 500 yr old slave castles, the W.E.B. Dubois burial location and memorial center, Asantehene’s Palace, an Akwaaba celebration, Ghanaian welcome celebration, natural hair show, African American Investment forum, and a healing and praise concert with award-winning national American and African artists. Dr. Haynes invites our FWBC family to take the journey with him. The trip costs $3600.00 (can be paid in installments) which includes round trip airfare from Dallas to Ghana, four and five-star hotel accommodations, entrance and priority seating at events, air-conditioned coach bus transportation to all sites, historical tours admission, and some meals.
