In 2006 we marched into our new facility after years of sacrifice and investment in 20/20 Vision and completed Phase I. We continue to praise God with our hearts and minds looking toward the future as we move toward fulfilling the vision God has given Friendship-West! Our Senior Pastor, Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III has declared that our church and conference center serves as a lighthouse, a beacon of light, for all those in the community to find love, comfort and safety in Christ. We remain committed to being a Christian community within the community - that transforms the community. We seek to reach a community of those who are spiritually wounded who desire healing; those who know Christ, but are missing direction, friendship, or support; and many who are hungry to know Christ more deeply. Further we aid those who long to see economic growth and development in their community. For these reasons and many more, Phase II is our response and cultivation effort to develop a garden of opportunity in the Southern Sector of Dallas.“The West”, a magnificent vision and we pray our church will continue to be a voice in the community that transforms lives. In Christ we are a community, and with each expansion, we plan to produce a harvest that transcends all that one could ever imagine.
