Jesus replied: 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.

We are called to love God with everything within us. We are to love our neighbor. If we really love the Lord we should want what is best for our neighbor. We should want our neighbors to experience God’s goodness. We can show our love for our neighbors by aiding in the expansion our church and ministry in order to serve the needs of our community.
APPLICATION

PRAYER
Lord, you have been so good to me. Please speak to my heart. I need you to guide me in determining the financial commitment I am to give to the building of your kingdom here on earth. Lord, I need your help, even after I make this commitment. Help me stay focused, dedicated and committed to completing what I have promised You. Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness

Can people see Christ in you? Do your friends know who you are in Christ or do they only see your worldly ways? Are you sharing what God has blessed you with to build God’s kingdom?
APPLICATION
Write down one thing you did for Christ that did not involve any benefits or accolades for yourself. Thank God for giving you a heart to look beyond your needs and desires to see and support the needs of others.
PRAYER
Lord use me to build your kingdom. If it means I have to reach beyond what I feel I am able to give, please give me the courage to step out on faith and do your will knowing that with you it is within my reach. |
