Ways to Give

“If you give, you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use in giving – large or small – it will be used to measure what is given back to you.”
~Luke 6:38 (NLT)

Give a One-Time Gift of Cash
Ask God for creative ways to increase your gift. You might consider income from savings, tax refunds, garage sales, inheritance, bonuses, an extra part-time job, reducing expenses, deferring a major purchase, etc. Involve your whole family in raising a specific amount and give as much as God will allow.

Give a 36-Month PledgedCommitment
You can give far more when it’s spread out over time. The Bible teaches that your faith and spiritual maturity develops through the habit of weekly, consistent giving. If you’ve ever committed to a monthly car, mortgage or rental payment, certainly you can make a giving commitment to God! Automatic withdrawal is available and encouraged for your convenience.

Give A Gift of Assets
You can give real estate, stocks, bonds, coins, gold, cars, boats, etc. This is a valuable way to leverage your giving to the direct work of the ministry and take full advantage of the available tax benefits the government allows.

Give A Gift in Kind
If you own a business or have skills that can assist Friendship-West Baptist Church in the building process, you may be able to donate to the church and possibly benefit from tax advantages through your gifts while lowering the overall building costs.

If you have any questions about giving a gift of assets, or any other questions about your giving, please contact Veta Holt, Chief Administrations Officer for assistance at (972) 228-5200.
