Worship and Fine Arts Community

FWBC Worship and Fine Arts Community is called to be a community designed to help people develop a personal relationship with Christ through the ministry of Fine Arts.

Our goal is to:
~ develop and cultivate talents for the use of worship
~ design and develop Sunday and Wednesday worship/study experiences
~ bring visual artistry to the word of God
~ assist in providing next steps for developing a personal relationship with God

The Worship Planning committee meets under the guidance of the Senior Pastor to coordinate the worship experience; which embodies the Mission of FWBC and focuses on helping individuals develop a personal relationship with our Lord.

Ephphatha Deaf Action Community

We are committed to bridging the gap between the hearing world and the non-hearing (deaf community), giving everyone the opportunity to experience God's word.

Looking up to heaven, he sighed and said, “Ephphatha,” which means, “Be opened!” ~Mark 7:34

What is it that we do?
We are a community of signers and Certified Interpreters; our purpose is to facilitate communication between those who are Hearing and those who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HOH). We listen to what is being said by the: speaker, choir, drama and Pastor then interpret that into an entirely different language, American Sign Language (ASL). In hindsight we are the bridge between the Hearing Culture and the Deaf Culture.

Ephphatha the Greek form of a Syro-Chaldaic or Aramaic word, meaning "Be opened" uttered by Christ when healing the man who was deaf and dumb (Mark 7:34). It is one of the characteristics of Mark that he uses the very Aramaic words which fell from our Lord's lips.

Praise Dance Community

~ To reach the lost through fine arts by means of all forms of dance, choreo-dramas, productions, interpretive movement of music, God’s word and spoken word.

~To set an atmosphere of worship and create a climate where the Holy Spirit desires to dwell, that strongholds may be torn down, yokes may be broken and lives may be changed.

~To fulfill, act and serve as a ministry of exhortation for the church and the community.
